I get it…A skincare routine can be quite hard to strictly stick to every or every other night is pretty hard. But as someone who is an avid makeup wearer (others makeup wearers can relate), a skincare routine is a MUST! Since makeup products contain very irritable fragrances and substances may create rashes, inflammation and harsh breakouts if left on and not washed off may create these terrible inconveniences that aren’t needed. So, I would like to share my nightly skincare routine that keeps my dry skin balanced and glowing!

“Who doesn’t love a little sun-kissed glow moment?!”
– Aja, The beauty tattler
After smearing my face with makeup wipes, I start with…
Cleanser
Rosen Skincare
Super smoothie cleanser
This cleanser will always be my baby! Having a strong cleanser (or cleansers) is a vital component for your routine. Cleanser is used to wash and deep clean all that excess dirt and makeup you proudly were wearing throughout the entire day. Without using cleanser, you are prone to crazy breakouts and dehydration.
Serum
Bliss
vitamin c + Tri-peptide collagen protecting & Brightening serum
Having a serum in the mix really makes a difference in your routine. Having a serum that has protecting a nourishing components like Vitamin C and collagen.
(This Bliss serum is also citrus scented and smells amazing! If you can’t tell, I’m a sucker for scented beauty products.)
cream/moisturizer
First Aid Beauty
ultra repair cream
Any cream or moisturizer is a must after washing a cleaning your face. If you are prone to dry or combination (like me) a skin moisturizer should do the trick to keep the skin balanced and normal. The First Aid Beauty intense hydration will always be my best friend! It’s just a really good cream!
…and to finish it off…
facial spray
Mario Badescu Skincare
aloe, herbs and rosewater facial spray
And to pull everything together nicely, a facial spray! Almost like setting spray to keep your makeup in place a facial spray keeps that hydration and balance that our skin needs to stay healthy.
(I’ve used many different facial mists/sprays throughout the years of my ever changing skincare routines but I’m currently using the one listed.)
